RECOUNT ALERT! SERIOUS BREAK IN CHAIN OF CUSTODY IN WAUKESHA COUNTY!

"Breaking News Out of Waukesha County Wisconsin -- This being reported from witnesses on the ground in Waukesha"

"At around 2:15pm, we were ready to open the bags for Delafield. There were three bags total. Bags 1 & 2 were fine. The numbers all matched up. When we got to bag 3, we found out that the bag # was NOT RECORDED ON THE INSPECTOR'S statement...! The Republican canvass person said we could assume that the clerk forgot to write the # down on the inspector's statement and we could proceed. Of course, this is a break in the chain of custody!..."

(snip)

"I called the campaign and they said to tell Bill to tell the judge that we are considering making an objection and want to have legal counsel. They said DO NOT open the bag. I raced back into the room and found Bill. He said the bag had already been opened..."

"He said he objected and asked the judge to open the other bags first, and not # 3, but the judge said NO. Bill said it's in the minutes and we have a record of it. BUT...they started counting the ballots in bag 3 first. By this time the ......media started pouring in."

1. Um, it's not a big municipality. Where'd you get that info? There were a few hundred votes in bag.

9. There are only about 4,500 voters in that municipality and this was one bag from one unit.

2000?

1000?

500?

What if enough bags add up to 14,000 votes?

13. Sorry, but I obtained info from linked article -
"Darcy said that with this big a municipality ...that we're talking thousands of votes (I think she said 10,000). I don't know how many votes we're talking here, but this is very suspicious. Why couldn't the judge wait? Why did they open # 3 first? Darcy said the judge was in the hall talking to Kevin Kennedy about it. I had to leave, I was too upset."

3. I arrived at about 3 and Darcy (quoted in link) approached me right away to discuss.
There were 350 ballot in there at most. The Board overruled objection and the votes were counted. Objection was entered as evidence.

Here's a local news report that talks about it a bit. http://www.jsonline.com/multimedia/video/?bcpid=558092277001&bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAG_pBMo~,kVIkQYQQ-Iw0616Y-wpIS00yR0PFX2J3&bctid=922919203001

12. I had to have spoken with whoever made that anonymous report.
It's funny how quickly you get to know each other in those close quarters. Bill and Darcy are awesome and they objected and it's been entered into evidence. It was a few hundred votes. Now if every municipality in Waukesha has one or 2 bags with seal issues, THEN I will SCREAM. Until then, I keep watching and objecting when needed.

The part you all should scream about is that the Kloppenburg campaign does NOT have an official lawyer on site in Waukesha. Bill (as noted) is a volunteer.

51. Kloppenburg campaign says 'anomalies' warrant more review
Thursday, April 28, 2011
9:26 PM:

JoAnne Kloppenburg's campaign manager says the first two days of the recount in the state Supreme Court race have tuned up a number of "anomalies" that warrant further review.

Still, Melissa Mulliken held off during a conference call with reporters from declaring any major shifts in the race, saying the process was ongoing.

"This is what a recount does," Mulliken said. "It looks at the process, and we think that we're going to shine some light and find some places where there were anomalies, and that's what we're finding and the process has to work."

23. It's suspicious that the person who knows the names of the Kloppenburg reps
would have no fucking clue how many votes we are talking about. Anyone from Waukesha County knows how big Delafield is (or isn't) . Oh, and they counted them and read the numbers out loud.

I dropped this part when pasting: The population was 6,472 at the 2000 census.

This is from Wikipedia.

They should recount every darn vote in the State.

21. The population count was dropped from my message - I edited to add it.
People are talking about thousands and then demeaning a small count?

We should have the totals of the other bags first it would seem.

Are they going to mix them all up? Sounds crazy there and I can see why, but people should slow down and act kadult and think ahead to the way the public would have wanted them to do it - which to me means counting what they new were legit first - legit in that is was according to accountability decorum.

27. No, the ballots were counted separately.
The bag included other information that was evidence of legitimacy and the reconciliation of #'s matched. Now, could this be evidence of tampering? Yes, but not enough for more than a few hundred votes. As I said elsewhere, if this is consistently the case in every municipality (1 or 2 suspect bags), THEN something is very very fucking wrong. Til then, we continue to count, monitor, object and ebter into evidence.

GAB is keeping a informal spread sheet of the daily count and progress there of.

... I'm sure you know this.

They changed how they they are posting results and the actual results. They pulled it this morning and didn't update it till after six today. No big deal, but they took Bayfield off that had that 60 vote for Kloppenburg, That seemed a little odd, though they put a qualifier in it that it didn't have all the votes counted listed and they'll be updating tomorrow noon.

I'm curious 'bout that.

Make sure you stay rested... Come May 9th your going to be burned out with visions of ballots dancing in your dreams.

..take care now.
