No individual should be considered a 'royal'
all are of inherent value.

Don't be a part of it today...

3. That's just nonsense.
Try to get DU to admit that about Republican governors.

4. I'm an artist and I don't agree. I don't understand hatred of beautiful things.
I won't argue with you, we all are entitled to our opinions. The inherent value of all human beings is a question for philosophers.

Regarding the royal wedding in the UK, my opinion is that in a violent, ugly, mean, cheap throw-away global society with a zero attention span, I am grateful that somewhere and sometimes I am privileged to witness something timeless and beautiful, shared openly, and made by people who care deeply about the quality and profound symbolic value of their traditions and creations.

I watched the wedding and I thought it was lovely and moving.

7. As an artist, you should understand 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder.'
The wedding is only more beautiful and more meaningful to you than taking a mourning pee because your mind adds the attributes beauty and meaning to the wedding more than your mourning pee. It's all in your head.

5. I think everyone should be considered royal, but I guess that is similar to what you are saying. nt

6. Yeah, me too.
Everyone deserves to be honored and treated with respect, until they prove otherwise.
