Well I caught the tail end of the proceedings |
|
Say one thing for the Brits - very classy ceremony and lovely appropriate clothes.
Now can we get on with reality.

1. Oh that uniform was hideous. |
|
That blue sash was fucking ugly. Seriously, it should have been black. Those people don't know how to design a uniform if their lives depended upon it. Her dress was nice though.
I wonder how many people could have been fed with the money that was spent on this wedding?
They used to have free university, now they have to pay for it. I wonder how many college educations could have been paid for with the money spent on this ceremony.

3. Personally I think the idea of this circus in the middle of |

layoffs and suffering is beyond vulgar, but it's thoroughly British - very classy and the ladies' clothes are beautiful as is the music.
I barely noticed what he's wearing - it's so Commonwealth

6. The sash is for the Order of the Garter. It's blue. It's always been blue. |
|
And the uniform is the dress tunic of the Irish Guards regiment (of which he's honorary colonel). Different regiments in the British Army have different full dress uniforms; it's not standardised the way it is in the US Army (partly because the British regiments have traditions as individual units that stretch back centuries).

9. Then don't bitch about it. |

Saying something kind of indicates you care; if you're going to say something ignorant you should be prepared to be corrected. Also try learning some manners.

I actually care so much, I bowed at my TV every time I saw the Queen on. It's like a drinking game.

Seriously what would make people sleep in the streets to ensure a good view of a married couple.
