Bwaaaaaaaaaaah whiny Christie returns to beg the Feds for
a grant to clean up the snow in NJ - what a fucking hypocrite.

Even Ed Rollins is laughing at him - this is perfect. He couldn't look his kids in the face and cancel their trip to Disney. SO fuck the NJ citizens.
Boo fugging hoo!!!

1. There outta be a law
and that law would require any governor requesting federal resources to send an explicit and gracious Thank You note to the feds.

6. If you're a snow state your own budget should include
preparations for snow events. Fuck Christie - being a Securities lawyer isn't the same as running a state.

24. Massachusetts spent $13 million cleaning up snow.
The governor budgeted $51 million for that purpose during this winter season. Massachusetts normally has 1-2 big snow storms per season with several minor ones.

11. He blew $400 million in Fed education funds and another $271 million
by cancelling the tunnel project and now he's begging for money, yet he refuses to raise taxes on New Jersey's unberwealthy.

26. The FEDs should loan NJ the money, at 20% interest.
Why should my state, where my democratic governor budgeted for snow removal, help pay for NJ snow removal?

13. Here's a link
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/12/31/gov-christie-returns-to-nj-to-face-political-storm/
<snip>
The first-term GOP governor, who is often mentioned as a possible dark-horse presidential candidate for 2012, said at a Friday news conference that while in the Sunshine State he was in constant touch with New Jersey officials about the storm and the cleanup, and he blamed local governments for tardy snow removal and the news media for the flap over his absence.

“I wouldn’t change the decision even if I could do it right now,” Mr Christie said, according to the Star-Ledger in Newark, N.J.. “I had a great five days with my children. I promised that.” Had he returned to New Jersey, he said, “I would have been doing the same thing here as I was there. I would not have been out driving a plow. I would be in a room somewhere on a telephone. That’s exactly the same thing I was doing in Florida.”

As for complaints about unplowed roads, he said, “If someone is snowed into their house, that’s not our responsibility.” Asked about some mayors who had complained that snow removal crews were kept busy clearing state roads, Mr. Christie said, “I know who these mayors are and they should buck up and take responsibility for the fact that they didn’t do their job.”

ReTHUGS are never responsible.

15. Expect more right-wing complaining in the future.
It's there M.O. Cut services to the public, deregulate and then complain because the gov isn't doing its job.

Here's hoping the American people wake up.
