5. Yes they are. Used to be in Total gas stations, then 7-11 |

now CVS. I gave them an earful the other day. I am behind on my mortgage with BoA. When I had them on the phone, I said "You know, it's ironic, isn't it? I deal with BoA in my business every day. They are so hard to deal with, they are slow, short sales take 6 months, getting mortgage approval takes forever. When they are the seller on bank-owned properties, they will not cooperate with the buyers' mortgage company, even if it's BoA. They are the ones delaying my paychecks, they are the reason I am late with my payments."

3. This party has been going on for a long, long time |

it's a sad and sardonic celebration, at the end of which, the only players left are the 'too-big-to-fail' criminals who started the mess.

6. I know absolutely nothing about these banks, |
|
but my now ex-husband did banking software for about ten years. One of the things I learned then was that a bank MUST be able to balance its books at the end of every day. If a bank is out of balance for three days straight, it's taken over by the Fed.
Before I ever met him I had a job where I had a cash drawer, and I was never very good at cashing out accurately. I loved it every time we had a new hire who'd worked in a bank because they'd cash out correctly the first time, every time.
