It is after all a pay network. I'm not surprised it's been blocked; someone streaming a pay service *for free* is engaged in theft of services. (And probably violating several telecommunications laws.)

4. I would love to pay for Maher's show

run online as a stream. I just don't want the usual junk on HBO. There's nothing on more often than once a month or so (except Maher) that I'm even remotely interested in watching.

Were they to put it online a week late as a subscription, I think they'd increase their revenue substantially.

But that hasn't occurred to them.
