And then I read this:

"Princess Beatrice's apparent gambit, to wear a chapeau representing "a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind" really paid off.

Before Wills and Kate had even shared their reluctant micro-kiss, Beatrice's Cthulhu hat already had acquired its own Facebook page with more than 5,000 fans. By 8 p.m. ET, it was closing in on 44,000 devotees."

22. I kept up with it via a bunch of snarky knitters from the UK
who'd been watching it live and posting their comments. Apparently the "stuck to the forehead" look was a popular one yesterday.

Speculation over what had stuck them there so securely was rife.

If it was any lower on her face she'd have to poke holes to see through. Or raise the lid.

I can't wait to see what Joan Rivers has to say.

Designed by NASA, but NASA won't confirm or deny it. It does pick up radio signals quite well, especially AM radio.

33. Silly looking, non-functional bows all over the front of that blue number. Poorly fitting sleeves,
skirt hangs all weird. This design is probably made out of the wrong fabric.

Sorry about their mom! - all of that crap going on in the family really IS tooo bad, but I would never have worn that thing.

The beige number is only slightly better.
