On Fox News just now, talking about the Ryan budget town hall meetings...
"Can't we have civil discourse in this country anymore?"

I don't think I need to point out the hypocrisy here.

3. you missed it, they're talking about the wedding now
but they'll probably disseminate a similar talking point every time they talk about that throughout the week, especially when they show the video of the students protesting (you know, the ones that say when our education's under attack, what do we do? fight back! which is cool to see)

4. sure, but these guys are acting like that never happened
like apparently discourse was perfectly civil when they were shouting down town hall meetings, but when our guys talk back at town halls (and get arrested for it) suddenly that's we don't have civil discourse in this country "anymore".

Plus, we're right and they're wrong, so... ;)

8. Fox lionized one group, mocks the other.
Politicians tip-toed around one group, have their police arrest the other.

And of course, one group was comprised of willing stooges for a big money agenda, while the other opposes it.

It's not the same thing.

13. +1
I find it amusing and perhaps unbelievable that anyone actually believes they're "fair and balanced".

7. What's funny is that it IS civil. No screaming No extended interruptions
at least for the most part. People come to these with facts and the Republicans have no answer. They are used to the "Fox treatment" (which they receive on all media) where their crackpot "ideas" are given consideration and allowed to guide the debate.

Thinkprogress has some good ones including the guy who gave up after one question "We're done"

10. That's an excellent point.
They're essentially just trying to make sure their side is actually represented, that their opinions get out, despite efforts to silence them. The Republicans were specifically trying to shut down the town halls. It was literally an organized effort to destroy all debate on that issue.

11. Ryan is the establishment 's choice to run for President if Mitch
Daniel's Indiana decides NOT to run.

They plan to put Ryan in at the last minute.

Ryan is going all over the country with his plan while
building his name recognition.

This has been a news item 3 nights on Fox News.
