(while I was aware we'd done away with prayer at some ceremonies, I have never seen a ceremony where the flag could not be displayed)

(That's less than a penny per member -- I see this means a lot to them)

Some school was painting a room and removed the flap from the room. Some Mom or teacher or principal overreacted and of course automatically decided that the liberals are trying to take the flag out of schools. Just a guess.

Yesterday, I had to listen to a woman on a news show carried on fundie radio make the point that comments made by Think Progress regarding the tornadoes in Alabama and climate change were far worse and far more offensive than anything Pat Robertson ever said on the 700 Club. Pat, after all, was speaking off-the-cuff and later apologized. She went on to remind us that climate change theory was completely discredited in 2009's "Climategate."

Something to do with a 9/11 charity, but this has nothing to do with 9/11. All I know is that I support God being in public spaces owned by private individuals and the flag being wherever anyone wants to put it (for the most part).
