Well that is a bit extreme. Something is up with the site I posted. I know what I saw and so do several of the others that contacted me. The site has been updated and the links and info are not the same as they were last night and this am. At the time though the links were taking people to bogus sites to 'sign up' that were full of B.S. I had to leave I logged in to update the post with the info I had found, and find this in my inbox. I feel the decisions and comments are a bit over the top. So I think for me someone whom believes that we each have the right to review information and draw our own conclusion, (all the links were there everyone had the opportunity to review the site for themselves and draw their own conclusions) I find the way this was handled and the comments made about me and my 'presumed' intention discouraging to say the least. Moving on, to other sites hope you all do well here - have a lot of good issues and info available but for me to have my motives and intention called into question in such a manner as was done have made me decide my time would be best spent elsewhere.
Another Austerity consequence
For decades they have been underfunding/underpaying for many of our basic service that are supposed to be fully funded by our taxes- The wealthy do not want to support public services- they prefer to hire their own providers or just buy the hospital where they get their cancer treatments thereby assuring they get everything they want the way they want- the rest of us just have to find a way to make do with less so they do not have to pay their fair share all the while gobbling up every stimulus/subsidy dollar they can find- we are funding their largesse and in turn they call us 'moochers' and leave us out to burn (literally)

Debate: ‘Public Banks Are Key to Capitalism’
Former Truthdigger of the Week and Public Banking Institute President Ellen Brown led a debate in The New York Times opinion pages this week, arguing: We actually need publicly owned banks for a capitalist market economy to run properly.
To ask whether public banks would interfere with free markets assumes that we have free markets, which we dont, Brown begins. Banking is heavily subsidized and is monopolized by Wall Street, which has effectively bought Congress. Banks have been bailed out by the government, when in a free market they would have gone bankrupt. The Federal Reserve blatantly manipulates interest rates in a way that serves Wall Street, lending trillions at near-zero interest and pushing rates so artificially low that local governments have lost billions in interest-rate swaps.
