The Secret Services story just seems a bit shaky.

"Oops sorry," is weak tea.

What does seem plausible is that after 4 years of working for Orange Fuckingstien many agents, of all ilks, probably texted a whole bunch of things.

Good or bad, seditious or not, the Secret Service was already involved in a criminal operation by being in Trump's sphere of influence.

It makes more sense that the leadership of the Secret Service planned to loose their cell text records in an effort to CYA.

Just my two cents.

North Carolina Looks to Remove Public EV Chargers, Probably to the Trash (Not from the Onion)

A bill currently in the works in the North Carolina legislature would allocate $50,000 to get rid of free public EV chargers unless free gas pumps are built alongside.

Politicians have to run on some kind of platform, and Ben Moss—my incoming state House representative here in North Carolina's District 52—decided that his animating principle is Being Mad at Electricity.

To prove his animosity toward this invisible menace, he's sponsoring House Bill 1049, which would allocate $50,000 to destroy free public car chargers.

It contains some other enlightened ideas, but that's the main theme: We've simply got to do something about these free public chargers, even if it costs us $50,000!

Those things cost tens of cents per hour, when they're being used.

This is why we can't have nice things.

One person could have made the Oscars better.

Will Smith hit somebody like it was in his own house.

The event was not his house.

Let's consider how dire things might become if, going forward, an offended audience member "X" decides that just like last year, "I'll slap the shit out of MC "Y."

X = anyone including, child stars.

and

Y= anyone including, child stars.

But, you have to admit that saying, "Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth!" sounded just like a line from some kind of movie about a tragic self absorbed, but truly insignificant, ass.

Whatever happened to, "You like me, you really, really, like me."

Thanks, bully boy for showing everyone the Oscars are just trash.

"Come on Butterfly, it was just a luncheon, let's go home and get away from these assholes."

I had to chuckle, but darkly.

I have an acquaintance that though she is intellectually inquisitive, for her age, she is pretty much allergic to the state of international affairs, not unlike many other 20 year old's.

So, I was a little taken aback this afternoon when she asked me about current conditions in Ukraine.

After, I went through the basic list of things that Putin has done she told me;

"My god he's worse than Steven Seagal."

I thought to myself that maybe I should expand our conversation, but then I decided that maybe I should just take her apparent flippancy as a teenie, tiny, win.

Chuck Todd is a talented obfuscator.

However, I just watched his usual schtick on MSNBC.

His whole "gee professor" act is so tiring. Just stating the obvious then fancifully connecting any downside to anything related to the Democratic party is now his only objective.

Could he please just go back to both-sider-ism? His inner reptile is more apparent now then in any other time that I've observed his performance. I wish he would just take his winnings and go home.

Does he actually believe that he is going generate a legacy as a venerated journalist, and not that of a gifted "college boy"?
