I live in a townhouse with other units right next door. Unfortunately for me, my one neighbor is a complete RW, hardcore fundamentalist Christian, bible thumping, Rush-Limbaugh-blasting-from-the-car-radio, wackadoo. The only time we talk, she must interject her version of the "Lord's will" into the conversation. Needless to say, I try to avoid her like the plague.
I heard my water spigot (MY water spigot, she has her own) squeaking earlier. Figured it was the lawn maintenance guys watering the garden. Looked outside, it was the crazy neighbor freely using my water spigot for some holy purpose. She set up a bunch of chairs and is apparently having a party in the grass near our homes.
For many years, she's felt free to park in anyone's spot even though they're clearly assigned (two per unit). Now she's using my water without even asking. In the past, the landlord questioned us over water usage because the rates are extraordinarily high. I knew at the time she ran laundry basically night and day for her business (save on costs by using water that's included in your landlord's rent).
This is what burns my ass. She'll be the FIRST one to proclaim self responsibility and how everyone should work harder and no freeloaders, no handouts, so on and so forth (same old RW talking points). For years, she'd knock on the door asking for eggs, or milk, or detergent, you name it. I've not once asked them for a single thing.
My question then is this. What in hell makes her so blind to the fact that she steals water people pay for, steals parking spots habitually, constantly asks for handouts and never pays them back, and yet she'd be the first one yelling at a bus load of illegal immigrant children to go home and die because it's not her responsibility to take care of them?
I'm so tempted to open the front door and tell her "Lady, nuha. This is a capitalist parking lot and water spigot. I pay for my two spots, and I pay for that water, as you and your husband do for your own unit. You didn't ask, and you never repay favors, I'm not a fan of freeloaders parking in my spots and stealing my water".
The incredible gall and nerve and blindness of the RWers. They cannot see their own hypocrisy.
Land of the free and home of the brave?
Free, as in 17 yr black kids are free to walk through neighborhoods at their own risk where "brave" bigot gun humpers pack heat and pick fights, play wannabe cops, murder them and later walk out of court? This verdict makes me sick to my stomach.

Three New Jersey cops are in the hospital after a shooter opened fire inside of their police headquarters this morning.
The three officers were shot at the Gloucester Township police headquarters by a suspect who was then shot and killed by police, Gloucester Police Chief Harry Earle told reporters today.

Alan Grayson Election Results: Former Congressman Reelected In Florida House Race

Former Rep. Alan Grayson, a Democrat, won his House race in Florida on Tuesday night over his Republican challenger Todd Long. Grayson was first elected in 2008, but lost in the Tea Party wave of 2010.
He noted Tuesday night to HuffPost that his turnaround is the biggest on record in the history of House. No other candidate had lost by 18 points in one year, only to turn around and win the next cycle by 25 -- a 43-point swing.
