I would like some proof that he was not present, did not organize or participate in any manner at the rumper room rally on 1/6/22. I just realized that the person of interest in the bomb planting on 1/5/22, in the video provided by the FBI, might have bomb training, possibly in the military? Crane is a former Seal, trump supporter, and admitted insurrectionist (attended rallies).

Surely he has been properly vetted before now? Yet....

Who is Paul Whelan, tinker, tailor, soldier, spy?

First off, I want to thank President Biden and all the members of the team that brought BG home. I've seen a lot of comments on news sites from tRump supporters about how unfair this is for the guy who supported DT in 2016, a former Marine.

From my reading, Paul Whelan was court marshaled while in the Marines for larceny. He allegedly had $80K in cash confiscated at the Russian airport on the day of his arrest. Who carries cash these days? He holds citizenship in Canada, Ireland, the UK and US. His employment history includes working for Kelly Services on contract to Borg Warner.

Is Paul a soldier of fortune, an arms dealer or an innocent pawn? I don't have all the facts and suspect there is much more to know before suggesting making a deal. I trust the Biden Team to handle the negotiations in the best interests of the USA.

President Obama in Arizona Today

The AZ ballot will take some time to complete, if you plan on waiting for Election Day. I spent a few hours doing my own research before returning my completed ballot by mail. Votes for Judges, Corporation Commission, school funding and other critical issues are on the ballot. Katie Hobbs, our current SOS has done a great job in protecting our vote.

Russia Insider founder Charles Bausman breached the walls of the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, according to research conducted by a Europe-based open-source intelligence (OSINT) group into video captured during the insurrection.

The findings by the OSINT group build on Hatewatch reporting showing that Bausman traveled to Washington, D.C., on the day of the insurrection, then disappeared from his home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and reemerged in Moscow. In the months since, he has served as a talking head on Russian television, commenting on American affairs with a reactionary point of view. Hatewatch previously noted that Bausman claimed on a Russian Orthodox Christian-themed television station to have stopped short at the Capitol’s balustrades without entering the building. Footage obtained by the OSINT group, in which a man bearing a strong resemblance to Bausman is visible inside the Capitol, appears to contradict his account.

The OSINT group, whose members choose to remain anonymous, goes by the name “Blue Hatz.” A person who operates a Twitter account associated with the group described them to Hatewatch as “an independent international team of 15 ‘OSINTers’ and investigators from Europe, Russia, Ukraine and US” who have been using found footage to identify those who breached the Capitol building on Jan. 6. In the Russian television interviews, Bausman claims to be a journalist covering the events of Jan. 6, rather than a pro-Trump demonstrator. But the man the OSINT group believes to be Bausman – shown in side-by-side images in a tweet they published – can be seen wearing a red, Trump-branded hat, blending in with other supporters of the 45th president inside a hallway. The video shows the man strolling and taking video with his cell phone as rioters move through the Capitol building.

Hatewatch emailed Bausman for a response to the OSINT group’s findings, but he did not reply. The enigmatic propagandist has not spoken to Hatewatch since more than a year ago, when we first started reporting out his connections to other American white supremacists. Then, he told Hatewatch from the door of his Lancaster home that he did not want to speak to the media. Hatewatch sent the apparent images of Bausman inside the Capitol building to five people who interacted with him in and around Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he lived from November 2018 until shortly after Jan. 6. All five of them told Hatewatch the man pictured in the footage unearthed by the OSINT group looked like Bausman to them.

“[We agree] that this is Charles. When I looked at the photo again it appears he is inside the [Capitol building]. I wonder if the FBI identified him?” one of the sources wrote to Hatewatch by text.

Peter Thiel's plan to buy elections

He is starting in Arizona as was reported by another DU poster on Wednesday. After reading her post, I made a small donation to Katie Hobbs for Governor. I have also made donations to Senator Kelly. Campaigns, short of an angel investor, will need to manage advertising dollars while investing in GOTV efforts, imo.

Peter Thiel's carpetbagger support for flakey masters and flakey lake was reported in another thread earlier this week. Theil (paypal billionaire) is a CPAC, tRump loving opportunist. Peter holds both US and German citizenship.

Ted Kaczynski was not a hippie who broke bad, as some assume, and his manifesto wasn’t some extremist interpretation of 1960s whole earth environmentalism. Anyone who has bothered to read even just the first few pages of his manifesto will know that Kaczynski was a fanatical culture warrior and reactionary conservative, both socially and technologically.

Bring Brittney Griner Home

I just wanted to thank all those working on her release.

If you have seen the Russian movie "12", you will understand why I am concerned about her long term well being and the prospect of a "fair" trial and sentencing. As a Phoenix Mercury fan and fellow American, I want her back in action sooner rather than latter.

Griner, 31, plays for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA but plays in Russia during the US offseason. She is a two-time Olympic champion.

The CIA, along with other American intelligence agencies, has dazzled the world over the past several months. First, in the months leading up to the invasion, the U.S. used satellite imagery to continually insist Putin was planning an invasion, even when he denied it. Now, stories are emerging of Ukraine using U.S. intelligence to target Russian generals and warships. There are even suggestions that the U.S. has flexed its muscles by intentionally leaking its involvement.

But we shouldn’t let our pride over what we do know drown out of concern for what we don’t know. For example, we had we had no idea how weak Russia’s military actually was, that it had become a Potemkin village that couldn’t fight its way out of a Ukrainian paper bag. Consider General Milley’s prediction that Kyiv could fall within 72 hours. We didn’t know just for example, that thanks to corruption the Russian army relied on faulty Chinese tires.

And yet, what we don’t know about Putin and Russia goes so much deeper than that. In the 90s, the CIA completely missed KGB hardliners plotting against Gorbachev, then Yeltsin. And then, most importantly, it missed the rise of Putin.

Although Putin has become one of the most powerful men in the world, to this day we still don’t have an authoritative, firsthand account of how he got to where he did. We don’t know, for example, who in the KGB backed Putin and what was expected of him after he got to the Kremlin. Without even these most basic facts, how can we expect to have any sense of whether his fascist rhetoric about nuclear weapons or further territorial expansions is real or just bluster?
