He is as good at golf as he is at business.

As in NOT at ALL.

Well, to be accurate, he has a handicap of about 30 (says it is like 5, but he is a liar and cheater) and that puts him in the average for an amateur.

In business he knows NOTHING, and is not average, but is in fact completely clueless and idiotic.

Remember, handicap is the average of one's 10 best of last 20 rounds, minus rating, times 0.96.

The average is around 28 to 30 overall. So, you're pretty much on. However, that does not include people who play a hundred times a year.

Per NGF, the average handicap of someone over 60 that plays 100 or more rounds per year is around 16. So, if you're right about a 30 (and seeing that swing, you very well may be), that would be well below average, even age adjusted.

Donald Trump used the mafia to build his illegal empire and nobody cares.

Amazing.

WSJ killed story about it.

As i've posted here before, if that buffoon had just taken that giant inheritance, invested broadly in market indices, and lived off an average of 30 million a year, after taxes, the ENTIRE time, net worth would be 2x what is claimed. And i don't believe the claim.

Remember, that Bloomberg just rerated the organization as being worth, in actuality, about 1/8th that claimed.

I'm 70 and still use the 2nd set of tees, my 85 year old playing partner moved up to the senior tees at 76. Let me tell you, when you play the ball down, play by the rules, no gimmies on the green, it makes a heck of a difference in your score. I also saw a couple of clips of Trump's swing, not impressed. His putting stroke is worse and he says he's a 2 handicap?

Like my buddy says, when you don't cheat, you don't care if people are watching you. I can't imagine Trump playing an honest round.

10. The Rating Is Based Upon The Teeboxes

So, the rating goes down as you move up. Hence, the average score is compared to a lower standard. Example:

I'm 61 and a 3.2. I play a course with a rating of 70.4, so it's fairly short (6,480). My 3.2 means that the average of my best 10 of last 20 would be 73.4. So, a couple even pars, a couple 73s and some 74s and 75s. The other 10 would likely be from 75 to 80. (Well i would hope at least a 79)

When i play in the senior scramble some Thursdays, the 75 and older guys play the senior tees (same as women's tees) and everyone else plays the white. From there, the rating falls 1.8 strokes, as the course is around 400 yards shorter that way.

So, 3.2 added to 68.6 would be 71.9. So, i should average right about even par (best 10) from those tees. I'm still a 3.2. The teeboxes don't matter.

Now, if you play the "wrong" boxes for your game, you could pay a negative penalty as the course is now simply too long for you (or me). Playing the championship tees at a 7500 yard course would be stupid for me. There would be par 4's that would be Driver/3 wood. Club players aren't going to hit a lot of greens in regulation if they have to use a 3 wood, even someone who can shoot in the low to mid 70's.

Best rule of thumb i ever heard was in early high school when the pro of one of the municipal courses told us to only play the tees from where you can get to the fairway bunkers. If you play farther back, first you're making a difficult game unnecessarily harder, and you're not playing the design of the course. The bunkers are there for a reason. Great advice.

As to your assessment of the cheater's game; you're dead on.
