I have been a DUer for almost a decade, and I'm only 24. DUers have made my life easier and more (nicely) complicated from time to time. IMHO DU is one of the best sources for information- which I am fond of- my cousin Kelly actually turned me on to it back in either late 90s or early 2000s and I have been an addict ever since.
I digress- I have been in financial straights as of late. I have a job and still found getting food and paying rent simultainiously difficult. Through the overwhelming kindness of several DUers, I am in an ok position now. We're it not for their extreme humanity and feeling of comradery I would be much worse off
Right now.
Thank you DU, from the bottom of my heart, for keeping a roof over my head.

(112,659 posts)I wish that I was in a position to assist financially, but please except my moral support in lieu of current shortcomings. I might be in Austin on a frequent basis this spring so maybe our paths will cross.
