Why the "big lie" from Trump won't work this time. Trump is a known liar

Repeat...Everyone knows that Donald Trump is a liar

Whatever he says is suspicious. He lies all the time, almost every time. The great majority of people know this.

So here is the truth. Most people in the U.S.A. need not listen to Trump on this issue. All people have to do is look at which political party has control of the White House, and which political party has a majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

That political party is responsible for running the federal government. No matter what anybody says that political party has the responsibility for running the federal government of the U.S.A.

Now, every time someone, anyone says that this shutdown is the Democratic Party's fault, everyone know that statement is a lie because one political party, (not the Democratic Party) controls the White House and has a majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Yes, every time, any time, they blame the Democrats it will be a lie. The more they blame the Democratic Party, the more the country will blame the Republican Party because of what the Republican Party controls. Yes, about 20 to 25 percent will follow Trump anywhere anytime. That is who they are. But eventually, 75 to 80 percent will see the truth.

it's not so much about donnie saying it. it's about the rw noise machine repeating it. unblock Jan 2018 #1

the effect works, at least to the extent it works, because people (especially right-wingers) hear it from what they think is a variety of sources.

they hear the white house say it, some congresspeople say it, some radio hosts talk about it, foxnews covers it, etc.

they don't realize this is a coordinated effort all coming from the same agreed talking points, so it seems "everyone" is talking about it and "everyone" agrees, well, except for "discredited" liberals.

donnie is merely one piece of that, and even if people start to doubt his honesty (when will they ever learn?) they'll still be hearing it from the other sources, so it still works. again, at least within right-wing circles.

60+% of the country has already made up their minds, and it's not clear at this point how republicans could break through that, most of those 60+% are deep into the "strongly oppose" camp.

Why? Those are the true believers, they believe any lie the Republicans give.

But the rest of us, well, I believe the truth will win. Enough of the media will tell the truth. The truth is in the Original Post. The truth is, The Republicans control the government right now

When Nixon was being impeached, and it was obvious that he lied all the time, a certain number still believed him. Why? that is who they are....true believers...but they are a minority. 20 to 25 percent . Please hit the link below and you will see how Nixon's support eroded down to 25 percent. But it stayed there, even though there was clear evidence that he was a crook. Trump is such a liar that his support may get down to 20 -22 percent, but no lower.
As stated in sentence one above, Those 20 percent are .....true believers who will believe any lie Republicans give.. Hit the link and take a look. and it is free. Hitting the link will not hurt. and it is the truth.
