Apartheid
The ultimate goal of the GOP and conservatives aided by the twisted fundamentalist faux Christians is economic, social and cultural apartheid. If you listen carefully to and "add up" the coded rhetoric from the GOP and RW that is what the 2012 election will really be all about. If you look at all of the policy that is being pushed by the GOP it is nearly impossible to come to any other conclusion.
We will look more like South Africa did before apartheid was overthrown. We will have townships of a different sort if Republicans get their way. And we will have third world conditions for anyone who is NOT in the top 33% economically.
Karl Rove and his little slimy cronies are still pursuing "one party totalitarian" rule in the US. With caging, gerrymandering, voter suppression and election fraud they can very well rule. If minorities, seniors, youth, poor people and other disfavored others are denied the ballot box only GOP candidates can win. We are seeing a frantic effort to make such reality so. The 2010 takeover was just a prelude to what is to come. With the help of the 1%'ers and THEIR media the GOP is convinced that it has already stolen this next election.
That is the only explanation for their brazen reactionary policies. They are unabashed in their hostile rhetoric because they believe that the election will be a formality. They relish a nation divided by religion and class where 1/3 will have it all, the next 1/3 will be struggling in desperate near starvation, and the last 1/3 will be outright destitute. And they will have a fascist police force and the military to suppress any dissent. What has happened to OWS will be a picnic compared to what the 1% and the GOP have in store for their verson of "outcasts" of society.
Is this the kind of nation that we want these Rethuglican clowns to give us and our children if we are not in the country club set?
