Who would have imagined that I'd be on the same side as Joe Scarborough?? But some of these Republicans - Steve Schmidt comes to mind - articulate the horrors of Trump the most vehemently. I turned on Nicolle Wallace's show one afternoon and heard Steve Schmidt give the best anti Trump rant that I've heard so far! 
When Steve Schmidt so articulately and passionately laid out this entire calamity for what it is, and what it means, my jaw dropped in astonishment and tears filled my eyes.
When I hear he (Schmidt) is going to be a guest on a show, I stop what I'm doing, tune in and listen intently!
from the damage that heavy tanks and artillery will inflict on the roadways will be HUGE.
This entire idea of "Bone-Spurs' is so repulsive, unnecessary and transparent, it makes me sick.
The people will be in the streets in record numbers and I will be one of them!
I heard him denounce donald as a racist on his show because of that. He said then, that he would NEVER vote for trump. Joe won't say who he voted for (if anyone) but he said it was NOT for trump. Mika said she voted for Hillary.
More fuel on the racist fire was his attempted Muslim Immigrant Ban. Joe was truly disgusted.
Another incident (that they refer to over and over) was an on-air interview when Joe pointed out to trump that Putin KILLS political opponents and journalists. trump's response was, "You think this country is so innocent? We kill people too." Joe and Mika were (and remain) aghast and appalled about his defense of Putin (the murderer).
Several months after the election, they were asked by a guest if they thought it was going to be this bad (DJT's win)
Both Mika and Joe immediately and simultaneously said, "WORSE!!"
Joe called in to the Stephanie Miller show a few months ago and she asked him about all the time they gave donald on their show. Joe said he should have done some things differently but he stressed that EVERYONE was welcome to call their show at any time and they would have them on. He said the only people that regularly took them up on the offer were trump and Lindsay Graham.
Personally, I can't stand Joe Scarborough. He's an arrogant, loud-mouthed bully. Mika is making a big mistake (imo) to marry him. But I believe he's turned the corner big-time on trump (and most Republicans) and there's no going back for him.
