Van Jones just said not releasing the rebuttal memo means the US

is a one party state where the minority party has no rights. The GOP don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Later: GOP are claiming they are being prudent. Where was the prudence when the first memo, the Nunes, was released?

It would only give them a justification to investigate and prosecute key democrats.

We’re better off with the blatant self-serving hypocrisy of selectively ignoring national security.

Finding a loophole to leak classified information would not go over well. They would have a field day. They’d say we were the ones reckless with classified info for partisan purposes, they’d say we were the ones evading justice, etc.

I really can’t see the actual contents of our memo being worth paying any political price for. We get enough mileage out of just talking about the memo.

on the committee. I like the idea of just floating the idea that the reason they don't want it released is because it would be embarrassing for them and would disprove the allegations in their memo.
