He'd suck everything he could out of them and file bankruptcy. Maybe the dumbass thinks you can do that with the government, too, not understanding that you can't just walk away from that debt.

He can walk away from it and he will! The rest of us will be stuck paying off the debt he creates...and Republican voters will still blame the Democrats!

but I do think that he has no fundamental understanding of how government is different from business. He thinks he can profiteer somehow from all he is doing, when in reality he can't. Well, I take that back. Some of his Trump hotels are doing better business than ever because diplomats and the like are staying there.

But a government bankruptcy is completely unlike a business one. This country won't go bankrupt as such, but it may greatly reduce most social spending and investment in basic research, while holding useless military parades.

about how government functions and what it's supposed to do. He thinks it's just like another one of his businesses - and we can't forget that Trump wasn't even a CEO who had to answer to a board of directors or stockholders. His businesses are privately held and managed with no oversight from anybody, so he always did whatever he wanted. I'm betting some of those bankruptcies resulted from incompetence but others were probably strategic. The United States won't be literally bankrupt because it's allowed to run a deficit, but it could go the way of Greece or other countries whose debt became unmanageable.

I had a conversation a couple of days ago with a friend of mine who like me is a senior citizen, retired, living on SS, a small pension, and income from savings. She kept on saying the country will declare bankruptcy, and I'm not sure I got through to her that a country isn't a company.

He is too stupid to understand the ramifications of his actions, what this country actually stands for, and basic right from wrong. He signed a bill that got to his desk and expects us all to praise him for putting his signature to paper. He has no comprehension of what he has wrought other than he signed something in a ceremony and, by golly, isn't he great for having done that.

Osama Bin Laden started. OBL once said the way to defeat America was to bleed her into bankruptcy.

Its what mob bosses do.
Semion Mogilevich

from an earlier post:

I am more inclined to think of Trump & family as gangsters, mob family, moffia, than to relate him to Adolph Hitler as was the original identity comparison.

Like one of these.:
http://www.storypick.com/facts-evil-gangsters-world-seen/

Facts About 15 Of The Most Evil Gangsters The World Has Seen

These were some seriously f'd up evil people & similarities to Trump is all the same.

When you consider his affiliation to the Russian mob & Semion Mogilevich, then Trump fits to a tee.

"Semion Yudkovich Mogilevich is a Ukrainian-born, alleged Russian organized crime boss, believed by European and United States federal law enforcement agencies to be the "boss of bosses" of most Russian Mafia syndicates in the world. (Wikipedia)

Trump's not a Hitler he's a mobster with the power of the President of the USA.

Because he apparently thought that US Treasury Bonds are exactly the same as a bank loan.

Someone must have explained to the idiot that that’s not how it works, and doing so would cause a worldwide economic catastrophe
