If he leaves, that would open up a position for Chris Christie. Jared and Christie could not work together because Christie helped to send Jared's father to prison.

Also, with Hope Hicks leaving, Trump may feel inclined to re-invite Scaramucci back into the flock? He does have some "experience" with the position. He was there for a week or two before he was fired and replaced by Hope Hicks.

Trump could have several options with Chris Christie. He could fire General Kelly, which he would like to do, and put Christie in as his Chief of Staff. Or he could fire Sessions and request that Christie be his new Attorney General? He would then fire Rosenstein and replace him with a team player. He could also fire Robert Mueller.

Trump has a limited number of friends that he feels comfortable with. He may think this is the time for some new old faces?
