And all the R's who let this happen can never claim the patriotic high ground again.

Patriotism belongs to the Democrats now.

The Watergate break-ins happened in June 1972
Woodward and Bernstein broke the story in WaPo in August/September 1972
Nixon was re-elected in November 1972
Saturday Night Massacre happened October 20, 1973
This set of indictments came out 5 months later - March 2, 1974.

So it seemed to take forever while we watched it all unfold.

All we can do is wait for the wheels of justice to turn. Sound familiar?

I hope the best is yet to come when this criminal enterprise is toppled. I've never seen anything like it except in Third World Banana Republics. There isn't anyone--even those tangentially associated with the Trump/Kushner Crime Syndicate...er...the Trump Administration--who isn't corrupt and/or an outright criminal.

Trump being worse does not make them better. Both nixon was and bush are horrible people who betrayed their country.

It's like Trump is Satan and nixon and bush are in hell or hell-bound. Nothing good anywhere near any of them and their accomplices.

Pls note that this article ran five years into Nixon's tenure. Trump's associates (both domestic and foreign) have run up more indictments in just over one year.

... after two years, over 60 indictments, some 40 arrests; his firing of Archibald Cox, "I'm not a crook" Nixon was forced to resign. The breadth and depth of trumpf's criminality, lewdness, treason, and those around him either involved, or complicit will be revealed and will shock the conscience of our democracy where congress will have no other option but to impeach which will inevitabely lead to his resignation and/or imprisionment.

Nixon's downfall brings to the forefront that no-one is above the law. As all points of justice focus on the immense violations, corruption, illegal practices not only those investigated by Mueller, but by those who have staved off trumpfs [incl. all in his admin] ineptness, almost evil attack on every aspect of our lives ..such as daca&dapa for no good reason; Muslim travel ban for no good reason; lgbt military ban for no good reason; purposeful crippling of our healthcare and tax cuts that only benefit wealthy.

All points of justice have the lens on him, well more like a blinding spotlight on trumpf and his ilk...all scurrying about like the ratones they are..his family, VP, advisors, staff, congressional republikkklans involved or complicit have no place to hide..in the meantime we wait as the wheels of justice to grind slow but ever so fine.

How fittingly ironic that trumpf announced or tweeted-- that today was national anthem day today, March 2..that it falls on anniversary of Nixon's co-conspirators' indictments-- loyalty and patriotism to country he claims. The hypocracy of that anouncement depicts deafness to his own words, lack of self awareness to his own actions...showing apathy, no mention of those killed at university, no mention of those killed in northeast storm--and in the oval office, placed on resolute desk, sanctions against Russia go ignored--patriotism is moot.
