Employees who complained were told that they needed to "cover the quarterback" because it would give "the other side" ammunition.
Me.

(32,640 posts)They believe that being considered "progressive" means that nothing they do is sexist or racist. This leads them to double down when it's pointed out to them.
It's like Roy Cohn saying that he wasn't gay, despite sleeping with men, because of what "gay" meant in his mind.
