Being mean is what drives him. He likes nothing more than to humiliate and demean others, and everything he does stems from that desire to crush people he perceives as adversaries, which is almost everybody.

For whatever reason, he seems to get perverse pleasure from nursing a grudge until the life gets sucked out of it. He is one sick puppy.
