(2,850 posts)What he is doing isn't good optics for anyone. He looks like he is guilty as shit and having a public freak out. I don't think this looks good for Trump or any of his associates, and I'm sure Mueller isn't breaking a sweat over this guy calling a bunch of talk shows and ranting like a nutcase.

It must be big. The only thing stupider than refusing to honor a grand jury subpoena is going on TV and ranting about how you're not going to cooperate.
This will end really well for him, obviously.

(11,885 posts)When one of them told him a woman got 18 months for refusal? He had no idea , and he's heading for jail time with his attitude saying he has the choice what he could do, or answer, he clearly doesn't. Typical type that worked for trump, stupid, and arrogant.

(14,944 posts)I havent seen anyone do anything like this full meltdown in such a public way. He will definitely be going to an asylum or jail very soon. What a mess.

(7,952 posts)Anyone in Trump or Stone's orbit gets no pity from me. These people have taken our democracy (that millions have died for) and think it's their personal cocktail party or playground.

Hortensis
(58,785 posts)that was not obvious unless you've seen some of the tweets that caused him to lose his job before, and those probably demonstrated some restraint compared to over a second beer in a friend's living room. I mean, we've all run across this guy before. A number of times.

(3,011 posts)This guy is out of his league but he doesn't know it. He just went on national television and fucked himself. What a thing to watch. It's been a very good day today.

(22,669 posts)go to jail to protect his mentor, as he calls him. It's a coverup. He probably either knows or suspects that what Roger Stone knows will implicate the president and both will go down. He may not care about tRump, but he definitely is loyal (loyalty over country) to Roger Stone.

(34,136 posts)And that Nunberg is terrified of what Stone could do to him. Nunberg told Katie Tur that he made the decision he would not comply with the supoena when he was reviewing his emails. I would bet money that he realized that his emails contained enough clues for Mueller to make a good case against his dear friend Stone.
Roger Stone has been working with the Russians for decades. He is the one who hooked Paul Manafort up with the Russians. If Stone got pissed enough, I suspect his Russian friends would "clean up" any messes created by an idiot like Sam Nunberg.
