Active shooter and hostage situation in Veteran's Home - California

YOUNTVILLE, Calif. (KGO) -- Police have surrounded a veterans' home in Napa County where officials have confirmed an active shooting and hostage situation Friday morning.

The Veterans Home of California in Yountville confirmed that three hostages are being held and that the situation is active.

I just came from a meeting with CalVet reps regarding grants for homelessness and therapy for vets outside the VA system. I hope the cops can just talk him out of it.

to give thoughts and prayers instead of real solutions. This is going to make the NRA nuts come up with a new excuse..if the person is over 21, has experience and "respect" for weapons of war, not affiliated with a specific hate group or religion, didn't watch video games or had a history of mental health issues than why did he do it? It is never the gun's fault, it is always the shooter's or even sometimes they even blame the victims. I will bet you $1,000,000 it was done by a man. More specifically, an American man.
