Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIf Evangelicals ever had any integrity or moral authority, they have now lost it all.
There is nothing left for them to worship.
Their Golden Calf sits on a golden toilet seat.
They sacrificed all that is right and moral in order to support an evil and deceitful politician.
They have nothing left to offer.

In their relentless zeal to deny gay Americans their right to equal protection of the law, to deny women their right to privacy, and to violate the Framers mandate that church and state remain separate, theyll climb into bed with any reprehensible Republican who likewise has nothing but contempt for the rights and protected liberties of the American people.
Religious fundamentalism is the bane of the American Nation.

(653 posts)These rightwing so-called evangelical Christians are nuts, they're radicals.
I've never felt they represented Christianity, and sadly this is largely what is represented as Christianity in this country.
That's why I've always loathed them.
The only consolation is that they've made it blatantly obvious with their fervent support of Trump.
