During last night's 73-minute rally in Moon Township, Pa. campaigning for Republican Rick Saccone ahead of Tuesday's Pittsburgh-area special election for the U.S. House President Trump tipped his hand on his three years of campaign speeches to come:
The tone: "'Meet the Press,' a show now headed by 'Sleepy Eyes' Chuck Todd. He's a sleeping son of a bitch, Ill tell ya." (Applause)
The targets: "[W]e have to defeat Nancy Pelosi [boos] and Maxine Waters, a very low IQ individual. You ever see her? ... 'We will impeach him.' She's a low IQ individual. You can't help it. She really is."
The taunts: "Fake as hell CNN. The worst. So fake! Fake news. ... Their ratings are lousy, by the way. Compared to Fox ... "

(146,351 posts)are Trumpeters. However, he also angers others who are not in attendance. In some ways, he campaigns for Democrats each time he appears to campaign for a Republican.
I don't know how that race will turn out on Tuesday. I'm a long way from PA, and have never even been there, except for one trip on the PA Turnpike in the mid 1960s.
But, Trump's campaign rallies are not always a bad thing for Democratic candidates.

My neighbor knows more about George Soros than I do...apparently he's paying for all the buses that are bringing the kids to DC to march next weekend.. I am at the point where I just laugh in his face anymore...

(54,506 posts)What was really said was never recorded, but as legend has it, during one the campaign stops of Adlai Stevenson, running against Eisenhower in the 1950s.................
A woman is supposed to have called out to Stevenson, "You have the support of every thinking American!"
To which Stevenson is supposed to have answered: "That's not enough. I need a majority!"
