Stormy Daniels offers to pay back $130G for freedom to talk Trump

Last edited Mon Mar 12, 2018, 12:34 PM - Edit history (1)

UPDATE:

Couple of noteworthy things from the letter from Stormy Daniels' lawyer:
1. Stormy Daniels will pay the $130,000 back to President Trump, the letter says -- NOT to Michael Cohen
2. Under this agreement, Stormy Daniels would be free to speak about her alleged relationship with Trump -- INCLUDING publishing "any text messages, photos and/or videos relating to the President she may have in her possession."
3. Under the agreement, Trump couldn't take action to try to prevent Stormy Daniels' "60 Minutes" interview with Anderson Cooper from airing.

Stormy Daniels has offered to return the $130,000 she received from Michael Cohen.

In exchange, Daniels wants to end her deal to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump, NYT

Adult film star Stormy Daniels is offering to give back the $130,000 she was paid for her silence so she can speak freely about President Donald Trump and release any text messages, photos and videos she might have.

The actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, made the offer Monday in a letter to Trump's private attorney Michael Cohen, who brokered a nondisclosure agreement with her shortly before the presidential election.

The letter is also being sent to Lawrence Rosen, an attorney who has identified himself as representing Mr. Cohen, and to EC LLC, a company Cohen formed in connection to the agreement and payment made to Clifford in October 2016.

the agreement. They shouldn't be allowed to say they know her or don't know her much less claim he did or didn't have sex or speak about monetary compensation. Right now, one party is freely denying wrongdoing while she's muzzled. Hasn't the agreement already been broken by Cohen and the president?

2. Keep the money, he says he didn't pay her. Talk freely, and if he sues, he is admitting guilt.
