I don’t think is a secret that the Russians and the Republicans have collaborated to fuck up this country and turn it into an autocratic society.

We know it. We have seen it. Until Mueller gets to the point where he brings charges, we are left to drift into whatever direction the winds happens to blow.

I know all the “GOTV” efforts are superbly important, but I think there must be something more that we can do to prevent Russia from taking over our country.....our Democracy.....our Rule of Law.

I’m asking. GOTV is important, but I truly believe it is going to take more than that. What that is.....I truly have no idea.

But I am heartsick over the direction our country has gone. Is it possible to fix it, or as an almost retiree, do I need to find another country to repatriate to?

1. Voter protection efforts will be important

I know that the Harris County Democratic Party and I have heard that the state party plan to be active on the voter protection front. We had attorneys in the war room for primary day which something that I have never done before

2. I am so damned depressed over all of this.

Almost paralyzed with anger, sadness, fear... I follow the people I believe in who post on twitter - hoping, always hoping for good news, new ideas, something, really anything that makes this feel surmountable. My feelings change with the day. Sometimes I am hopeful. Other times it just feels hopeless.

I agree with you, we need something more.
