David Frum Tweet from this am

?s=21

Post-Tillerson, US seems to be heading to simultaneous nuclear confrontations with both North Korea and Iran, also simultaneous trade wars with South Korea, China, the European Union, and - if they wont sign on the NAFTA dotted line - Canada and Mexico too.

LOCK HER UP.

BUILD OUR WALL.

Boy will they be surprised when all hell breaks loose in this country.

But somehow, someway, they'll find a way to blame it on the Dems. They've always been able to pull the wool over their flock's eyes, because the flock is predisposed to hate "libs".

First,John Dean. Second, David Frum.

The former who has been with us for decades, the latter who has increasingly has been arguing for rationality in government.

Sic transit Gloria mundi.

Rationality is needed in government. Or at least in a free society.

Keith Olbermann would regularly feature him. Dean is so fucking intelligent!

Read his Conservatives Without Conscience some day. It is one of the most intelligent political book that I've ever read. I have a signed copy.

John Dean is a real treasure.

Never thought I would ever agree with Bill Kristol.
Also, Nicole Wallace, Steve Schmidt, David Frum and a few others whose names do not spring to mind immediately.
They all wail about what a debacle their Republican Party has become.

He won't attack either nk or iran. Putin has interests in both countries and would never stand for it. Even under obama, putin would threaten and find some way to retaliate if we took any military action against either country, let alone both.

But it does create instability in the region and weaken the us interests. That is the goal, not actual war. If nk ends up lobbing a missile, so much the better. But we won't fire.

The same is true with the trade wars. It creates instability in the markets and separates us from our allies.

If this were a normal potus, it would be bad enough. But if you believe this potus is a manchurian candidate, it becomes even worse, and on a much larger scale.

That also brings the uk nerve gas attack into focus. Why would moscow use a method that could only have come from russia? Because trumps weak response will rattle the nerves of every ally we have.

Brittain feels alone right now. They have lost the EU, and now america is standing apart. That has to be scary. Every other ally right now is likely convinced any mutual defense treaty is worthless. Even nato.

dOtard’s corner will continue to increasingly shrink, and his erratic behavior may spill over to really unimaginable life threatening actions. Until we have a functioning check on his power we remain exposed to his evil ability to use that awesome power to prop up his corrupt and grandiose concept of himself. He has to be impeached and removed from office for the national and international good.

Read article in the international NY Times and Frank Bruni wrote that now Italy is looking to Russia for international world leadership. They recognize under Twitler we are now a country with less influence. Saw this great exhibit today in A museum near the colosseo and they had an exhibit iof current day Russian artists.

I fear our country will be in major shambles under 8 years of Twitler. If he gets us into wars he will be re elected easily in 2020 like bush did in 2004.
