President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump faced a backlash on Thursday over a tweet she posted about Women’s History Month.

The White House adviser hailed the March celebration of “women’s incredible contributions to our Nation” with this post:

But the comments were not well received as many respondents pointed out her father’s historically degrading attitude toward women:

Contributions and achievements that your father is working to strip away. I get that you have no influence on your father on women’s issues but by staying you are complicit (google the definition). You yourself pay meager wages to women overseas - not celebrating them much.
