Legal questions about McCabe firing

Can someone answer me ?

I'm lawyer but not familiar with your system. I have a rough knowledge about it but that's all. Plus, criminal Law is not my field.

However, this firing bothers me. I can't say why, but I feel something is wrong.

How can someone be fired without being recognized guilty ? Where's the due process?

Even he deserved to be fired, how does that deprive him of his pension in its entirety ?

If someone can be fired on such fragile basis, doesn't that set a dangerous precedent?

that the Right Wing Nut Jobs have wanted for Decades. Was Macabe GSA protected? If so,this will cost millions especially if there is a Retirement Filling in place.

Government workers are not at-will employees
Employees of federal and state governments cannot be fired without cause. Not only that, but government employees are entitled to due process before they are terminated. In fact, the federal government has a mediation department that will intervene if a dispute arises between employees and their co-workers or managers.
