I'm convinced that Hillary has become Emmanuel Goldstein

I'm in Foxworld at my folks place.
For the most part they've avoided Fox News but every single time my stepfather has flipped over every single segment and/or scrawl has made some mention of her.

From her comment to McCabe to North Korea to you name it.
Since we got here yesterday he's checked in maybe 8 times. Every single time she was worked into the topic.

Having not actually watched Fox in a while it's worse than I remembered. It's not just they twisted angles of every story being about how powerless Republicans are and how under attack the viewer is, the language is all backward. A discussion about McCabe with a former head of College Republicans went like this:

Host: "He had a 'lack of candor', which sounds like lying to me, according to the report that we haven't seen"
Guest: "Yes, that is apparently the case, if that's what the report says"
Commercial break.

Anyway....back to Hilary

1. Only instead of Republicans indulging in a Two-Minutes' Hate every day,

They've been doing 24/7 Hate for Thirty Years.

And such has reduced them to nothing more than feral, reactionary animals.

Hate hurts the hater as much as the hated.

5. They Think She Really Won?

Do you think this means they think she really won the presidential election? Why are they so obsessed with her if they do not think she won the election? One could argue that they are constantly talking about Hillary Clinton to distract from Trump scandals, but they could just ignore Hillary Clinton and spend time talking up Trump's accomplishments. Many could say Trump does not have any accomplishments and that is why Fox News has to talk about Hillary Clinton. Yes, Trump does not have many congressional accomplishments, but his administration has been doing a really good job of changing things at the executive level. Fox could spend hours talking about those things. So, why talk about a woman who is not a threat? I highly doubt Hillary Clinton will ever run for another elected office. So, there is no chance that she will challenge Trump or any other Republican in the future. So, once again, why keep attacking her? Is it that Fox News is just as insecure as Donald Trump because they, like Trump, believe Hillary Clinton actually won the presidential election even after all the attacks from Trump and the Republican Party?

8. That's a very good point. They know they engineered Trump's win

They are still so threatened by her that they fear the truth will soon be found out & they'll become the biggest liars & criminals in American History.

They all know what was done to put Trump in the WH. They know she rightfully won the 2016 election.

9. Yes it is telling

It appeared to be one part distraction, one part instilling the victimization/Govt. control, one part global conspiracy, and one part victory lap/“punching down”.

I think there’s also an “catch phrase” element too - whether it the hot segment on SNL or a catch phrase on a sitcom, not only does the audience demand it it also fills time. Their audience gobbles up anything they put on the air so they could go all positive Trump (existence doesn’t matter) but they just dust off the greatest hits and everyone is happy.
