He has Sessions, the GOP and 30% of America who are afraid or support him!

From all I have heard about Trump, it seems like he has been able to get away with virtually everything he has done his entire life and has an army of lawyers and other goons whom are able to shield him from consequences. Now, he basically has the entire federal government under his thumb, as well as nearly an entire political party willing to enable him/overlook his misdeeds. It's a very scary and disconcerting situation.

I would guess you're right. Besides, we have a history of "looking forward not back". God I hate that phrase. Nixon and Watergate wasn't so much about winning an election but about finding the " X folder" that proved his treasonous derailment of the Paris peace talks. A full investigation of Iran-Contra would have destroyed the CIA as it now exists. Both of those would have made the current political environment infinitely better.
