who live outside the US tell everyone they meet that the majority of us loathe, abhor and despise the ignorant, pompous yammering yam currently squatting in our WH.

It's so embarrassing that when we had President Obama, the only countries who didn't like us were those run by dictators. Now it's the complete opposite.

If any administration ruined U.S. standing abroad, it was Dubya's. Cheeto, of course, is making it even worse.

But, as they say, this too shall pass.

After telling the world that the stolen elections of 2000 and 2004 produced an unfortunate anomaly, it is not easy explaining how Trump could happen, or how we expect to maintain (or, now, regain) our world status.

How do we explain to our allies that we will be there for them if they need us if we weren't even there for ourselves when we were needed?

It'll take another 8 years at least to repair the damage. 20 years+ if Cheeto actually gets to attack another country.

Election reform (i.e. no more "some people in flyover country voted for this dotard, and they brainwashed a few other states, so now he's our President even though >50% of voters voted for the other candidate", no more gerrymandering, etc). Or anything that makes sure those unfortunate anomalies stop happening. Also, I know free speech is sacred in the US, but I (German guy) am not sure if mainstream media outlets should be allowed to tell one lie after another. It's a delicate topic though, because who gets to decide what is a lie and what isn't?

Maybe it's a non-issue soon. I'm looking at you, Texas and Florida. Please pull "a California".

I forget where the case was decided, but there was a suit brought against them several years ago for knowingly lying and calling themselves a "news" channel. They won that right in court, citing First Amendment issues, and the (Republican, of course) judge agreed with them.

As for Texas, I'm budgeting for some serious contributions to Beto O'Rourke's campaign to pull of a Conor Lamb-style miracle, and put a Democrat from Texas back in the Senate for the first time in decades.

when Dems are in control. The GOP (example the PA gerrymandering decisions) tries a zillion times if they don't like the decisions they receive. We MUST bust up Fux Ruse! Propaganda, libel/slander(whichever) need to be permanently ended ASAP!
