played a sound bite of Obama campaign official Jim Messina "bragging" about their use of "data". This was extrapolated out to include social media. Well first that wasn't a foreign country doing it and second Messina was talking about their use of emails. They had running bets targeting specific demographics in specific areas, who had provided their email to the campaign, with the same text but different subject lines. The bets were based on whose subject line created the most donations. Michelle was the big generator and the DNC Chair at the time created a surprising amount of donations.
