I also think Trump woke up to the fact that border protection allocation was small in relation to what he needs. Cable news talking heads were mocking how little was there and what the funds were designated for. The President is so stupid, he thought at first he had a win, but later realized he had been duped.

With some court protection on DACA for relief, I'm loving how that's not even on the table this time. Trump will OWN this lock, stock and barrel if the government shuts down. Of course we'll have this drama playing out with Stormy on TV on Sunday night.
