Coulter, Drudge blast Trump for signing spending bill

Conservative media figures Ann Coulter and Matt Drudge blasted President Trump on Friday for signing a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending package after threatening to veto the bill over concerns on immigration and border security.

Coulter also acknowledged that the bill provided the federal government with its largest spending increase in years and, in a move viewed as a win for Democrats, boosted domestic spending for social programs and infrastructure.

Drudge, who runs the news aggregation website The Drudge Report, also labeled Trump's veto threat as a "fake veto" on his website. Trump had threatened to veto the measure early Friday, but eventually backed down and signed the spending measure.

To get Trump out of office.

Maybe some can be nudged into early retirement. Maybe we offer future sweeteners in other bills.
