So here, apparently is how Fox is presenting the March for Our Lives

I'm not posting the video, just the description. I was curious about this, after a friend made some strange comments about the march (I know her to be a conservative, likely didn't vote for either Trump or Clinton but undoubtedly has a Fox-watching husband who did). We only get together to walk our dogs, but are careful to avoid talking politics. She knows I am going to do the walk and I made statements I thought would be shared (my pride at the kids, my being impressed at how they have managed to take donations, but to keep "ownership" and "management" among themselves). Well, she immediately made statements that suggested they were being manipulated.

Here is likely where she is getting this (Fox)

The truth behind the 'student-led' March for our Lives

Mar. 19, 2018 - 3:46 - Planned Parenthood, Move On and the Women's March all playing a role in the March for our Lives; Washington Free Beacon reporter Stephen Gutowski examines who's really behind the gun control push.

So, demonizing the march because other groups are supporting?

I made one comment about how upset I was that some politicians were disparaging the kids, "suggesting they were not going to take some teenager's attempt at creating laws" and that I thought that no matter whether one agreed with these kids or not they should be admired. She appeared angry at that and we changed the subject. ... sigh

The Tea party was instigated by Santelli, and seized upon by David Koch. It was "astroturfed" (simulated grass roots) by his PAC. I seem to remember Grover Norquist and Dick Armey with the Freedom Works group being part of that astroturfing. Fox of course were cheerleaders.

The movement began following Barack Obama's first presidential inauguration (in January 2009) when his administration announced plans to bail out certain home mortgage holders through the bankrupt homeowners. On February 19, 2009 CNBC reporter Rick Santelli launched a "rant" against the bailouts on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, calling for a new "tea party,"[11][12] Later, over fifty conservative activists agreed by conference call to coalesce against Obama's agenda and scheduled series of protests, including the 2009 Taxpayer March on Washington.[13][14] Supporters of the movement subsequently have had a major impact on the internal politics of the Republican Party. Beginning as a grassroots outburst, various local tea party groups eventually began to coalesce, and gained major support from Americans for Prosperity (AFP), a conservative political advocacy group founded by businessmen and political activist David H. Koch. Although the Tea Party is not a party in the classic sense of the word, some research suggests that members of the Tea Party Caucus vote like a third party in Congress. -- Wikipedia

They parlayed it into anti-everything liberal, once they had a few people elected to the House and Senate.
What a nest of vipers! They've changed their name though, now they're known as the Republican Party.

Personal attacks come from a place of despair. They know they have lost the intellectual debate. Empty threats and accusations are the weapons of failure.

You'd think none of them had children. Just because your kid is in a private school doesn't mean they're immune from gun violence.

By Planned Parenthood? Move On? And the Woman's March?

They think that's a bad thing? Well I guess for them it's bad. But really to organize all those groups together is an accomplishment unto itself.

They think saying that those marchers are associated with these groups because a lot of woman support them is somehow deligitimizing the marchers. God, how stupid. That's how Trump thinks.

She wants a wall! Not kidding here, she is!

I had turned it on to see if they were covering.

Back to MSNBC, where they just showed Jim Hines and his daughter.

The dirty, little coward split for Fla!

Also read an article this morning that Democrats are getting more than they wanted in the budget bill! You suppose Schumer said to Trump,” Listen, AH, you are not going to get our votes if you do not give us what we want!?”

It's laying the "blame" on women. Planned Parenthood, the Women's march. As if anything coming from women is evil, stupid, pointless, anti-family, etc. Fox misogynists are so very tiresome.
