in Strawberry Fields, NYC. It hangs right in front of me.

The pic she sent me has dozens of roses arranged.

People still sit there reverentially, playing music, contemplating, placing objects. It's wonderful.

I've been to the mosaic, and weeped. I miss John like he was my brother...

Today is as much about him as anyone.

I've had tears brimming over off and on most of the day.

But this --

Made me burst into tears and I can't stop crying. The funny thing is, there aren't any words that go with this, so I don't really know "why" the flood came. I guess it was the realization of how very, very far this baby movement has spread, plus his poignant remark, plus probably the memory of and missing better times.

But for sure I'm a mess right now.

on his show. He told Dick that he would probably get shot by a crazy fan with a gun. I wore black for a month after he died.
