While I know the media is enjoying speculation & salacious gossip, Id like to remind people theres a minor child whos name should be kept out of news stories when at all possible.

What is a minor child anyway?

(34,070 posts)My parents, in their 80s, are still asked how many children they have. We're nearly all in our 60s.
(I assume you were suggesting redundancy)

(11,936 posts)I mean, she said he threatened her, not the kid... but does it really make a difference either way?
Trump's youngest son should not become part of the discourse at all. He's just a kid that has nothing to do with anything relevant, leave him the fuck alone, period.

(25,247 posts)there's no need for us to make things worse for him. We need to leave Baron alone.

(40,211 posts)It is what this tweet doesn't say that is interesting. Nothing like: "The First Lady supports the President and remains focused on her many projects....blah, blah, blah"
I think the language "when at all possible" is a little weird.

(89,249 posts)i didn't say barron had any fault in any of this. and nobody attacked him either .
she is the one that brought him up.

(18,837 posts)1). Melania traveled separately to the airport, with Barron, skipping the walk across the White House lawn and the ride on Marine One.
2). She stayed behind at Mar-a-Lago, with Barron, after Trump went back to D.C.
I didn't view either piece of reporting as "dragging him into the salacious gossip."
It's possible that it became "salacious" outside of the mainstream media, but if it did, I didn't see it.
No, he should not be part of the "reporting" on the Daniels (or McDougal) stories, and so far (to the best of my knowledge) he hasn't been.

I don't know who writes these tweets, and I don't read this crap. No accountability, no care.
I wish the media would start ignoring these tweets crap. It's not evidence, and I want legal responsibility. You work for the federal government, not pushing some new YouTube video.

(18,837 posts)...and then I realized it's probably the fact that Melania was pregnant with Barron while Trump romped freely.
It's the truth ( "allegedly" ), and I see it more as reporting on the chronology of events than going after Barron.
No, he didn't have the opportunity to choose his parents.
No, a 12 year old shouldn't have to learn about these things from the media, no matter how diplomatic the reporting may be.
I lean toward focusing the anger and outrage toward the person who "allegedly" did these things.
OK, I think I have used the word "allegedly" enough for one night.
