“‘They made it sound like I had no choice,’ Daniels told Anderson Cooper in a interview airing Sunday night on ‘60 Minutes,’ specifying that she feared legal retribution. ‘As a matter of fact, the exact sentence used was, 'They can make your life hell in many different ways.’
“Daniels, whose given name is Stephanie Clifford, said it was not the first time she felt threatened over the affair. She said the first instance occurred when she spoke to InTouch Magazine in 2011. Daniels said an unknown man came up to her in a parking lot and threatened Daniels and her daughter. ‘I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter,’ she said. ‘And a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ The man looked at her infant daughter, then added, ‘that’s a beautiful little girl.
