Okay, could we please have a forum exclsively for satire? I enjoy the wit of the Onion as

much as anyone, but our current reality is too often so outrageous that it rivals the most "out there" tongue-in-cheek articles. I am tired of the unnecessary blood pressure spikes from reading posts only credited to a satire site in tiny text at the very end.

It's not unusual to see the first couple of posters respond to these satire cut-and-pastes as genuine. "Truth in labelling", please.

Most people get satire at first glance (even in these times), a few don't... no need to create a forum solely for the latter.

I'm not sure what the purpose of "The Onion" and "The Borowitz Report" are. The funny, gotcha...

thing isn't funny anymore.

Things are dead serious now with trump and Putin hijacking our government.

Call me a party pooper but I HATE the onion, and nothing pisses me off more than clicking on a link and then finding out it's the onion or Borowitz (is that his name?)

I just have never gotten "it." As OP says, reality is weird enough, I don't want to read made up shit.

reading those first few lines and believing it's true or not knowing if it is.
I usually look at the link to see the source before I believe anything that sounds outrageous. But I've never run into "tiny text" that credits a satire site. It's always been just normal size. Anyone who intentionally changes the text size to fool the reader should probably think twice before doing so.
