Discussion on Rachel about protecting Mueller investigation

Congress is in recess, but a newly released letter shows nine of the 10 Democratic Senators on the Judiciary Committee have written to the Department of Justice's Solicitor General asking that he "publicly commit to refuse any order or request ... to interfere in the Special Counsel's investigation." (letter posted below)

At the same time, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is tweeting about protecting Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

asking them to pledge to allow muehler to do his job.

There is a lot of fear trump will either fire muehler or sessions and shut everything down.

He is asking anyone he can reach on the phone what he should do.

It could very well be a 4:00 am massacre.
