Anyone else feel dirty for ever having a facebook account? I have one, with a total of 8 friends, but after we learned this week of their data sieve and call-record hoarding, I'm done.
Though I rarely go there, I've devised a scheme to potentially corrupt the data-miners and the prospect of leaving a legacy of what they call a "shadow profile". After I download and then delete any info I want to keep (locally), slowly changing my liked pages, my favorited views; ultimately obfuscating any meaningful or easily packaged target profile I might leave before finally deleting. Maybe a campaign of conspicuous misinformation before changing phone numbers and mobile platforms.
Next: google. This big-brother shit just got real all of a sudden.
Anyone else feel like doing this? Just blatantly feeding them such digital bullshit that you suddenly appear as analog television snow right before the proverbial Ctl+Alt+Del?

Facebook knows that, too. That's why they do it.
I just want to troll a big bag of rotting and false info for a while to obfuscate any reliable predictability of my profile. Soon I'll be clicking on every fox news story and dating Ann Coulter and trolling #MAGA on every meme post.
Write an algorithm for THAT.

(2,857 posts)It is how the dems in my area organize. With it I can talk to other dems all over my state which is valuable and something I didn't always have. I won't be guilted out of it.

I'm completely avoiding political talk, blocking friends that spew rw talking points. I've unliked every non-actual person and I don't fan anything else. It's strictly for me to see what my peeps are doing.
After the Android revelations I'm glad it's not on my phone anymore.
