Wayfair pulling ads from Laura Ingraham's show

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 03/29/18 01:44 PM EDT

Online home goods company Wayfair said it will stop advertising on Fox News host Laura Ingraham's show after she posted a tweet critical of a Parkland, Fla., high school student.

"As a company, we support open dialogue and debate on issues. However, the decision of an adult to personally criticize a high school student who has lost his classmates in an unspeakable tragedy is not consistent with our values," Wayfair's head of public relations, Jane Carpenter, told CNBC.

"We do not plan to continue advertising on this particular program."

Ingraham faced backlash this week after she posted a tweet critical of Parkland student David Hogg, who has become a vocal advocate for gun control since the mass shooting last month at his high school.

It would be a glorious day to see more corporations dump her vile ass.

Without them, she has no show.

It's the only way to mute the lies. Free speech is protected, but hate speech is not.

one of those companies I had used. I bought a TV cabinet from Wayfair, because there was nothing local that worked for me. I am very satisfied with it, and I am picky about furniture.

I am glad they did this. Way to go!
