PRICELESS!

@realDonaldTrump

I am right about Amazon costing the United States Post Office massive amounts of money for being their Delivery Boy. Amazon should pay these costs (plus) and not have them bourne by the American Taxpayer. Many billions of dollars. P.O. leaders don’t have a clue (or do they?)!

I just went to the Trump store, put in a NY address, continued the checkout process to the point before putting cc# just like that pic, and absolutely no tax came up. Their store is listed with a NY address.

So how long have they been not collecting NY sales tax??? Schneiderman or Cuomo, or someone should know about this.

Because Amazon touts their free delivery for orders over $50 or for Prime members, he assumes they must not have to pay the Post Office.

Dotard can't wrap his head around a company taking care of it's customers by taking a smaller profit.

So it is easy to see how (67 - Dems) = appr. 16 - 22 R Senators could switch.

The 2018 election is harder for the Democrats to make gains in the Senate but the 2020 election will be much easier. This is due to incumbencies and R "safe seats" (which get less safe if a blue wave sweeps the House and / or there are shocking indictments / allegations re Conspiracy Against the USA).

I somewhat disagree, the GOP has not reacted to the bullshit this president has done so far. many on the right will just call it a fake news story, I doubt without both houses, a full impeachment and trial will occur

It always come back to bite US, because our side is honest while the other side lies and distort. You better believe that if the law is changed, the first victim will be a democrat.

(Although it's more of a "delivery service" not just made up of boys.) We pay for that. Amazon pays for that (even if they absorb the cost and offer free shipping to a customer).

Amazon ships enough with the post office to qualify for bulk rates, giving it a significant volume discount that varies depending on package weight and number. (Here are the postal service's latest rates.)

Amazon uses FedEx and UPS as well as its own fleet of carriers, but it often relies on the post office for "last mile" delivery -- bringing a package to a customer's door.

....

Amazon has denied benefiting from postal service favoritism. "The Postal Regulatory Commission has consistently found that Amazon's contracts with the USPS are profitable," the company told Fortune last year.

Packages and shipping are one area that's growing for the postal service, bringing in more than $19 billion in revenue last year even as volume of letters and magazines declined. In fact, its projected revenue growth "is driven entirely by increases in shipping and packages," the postal service said in its latest annual report.

Donald Trump: "Amazon should pay these costs (plus) and not have them bourne by the American Taxpayer."

From https://about.usps.com/who-we-are/postal-facts/top-10-things-to-know.htm:
"The Postal Service receives NO tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations."

Trump lies about everything, doesn't he?

it is a great deal for the PO because Amazon uses the PO to send packages to local destinations after their distribution network has taken care of the rest of the trip. That saves the PO a lot of money. And Amazon does indeed charge local taxes. The PO is losing money because the GOP Congress forced the postal service to pay employees' health insurance in advance. The PO makes money on Amazon deliveries.
