For the first time in my life I’m beginning to actually feel physically ill at the very sound of certain people’s voices.

I can’t watch Sarah Huckabee anymore. She sounds like a machine gun yelling at the press and it’s making me nauseated. The woman on before her talking about the evils of immigrants also had that rat-a-tat-tat machine gun sound. It’s like listening to a surreal version of a very bad story which gets repeated every day and never ends, making me grit my teeth in jaw aching frustration. It makes my teeth hurt. It’s like smelling days old skunk that got run over on the freeway every time you pass that spot.

I now get a pounding headache as well as a queasy sick feeling when I hear Trump’s voice and his right eye is looking more evil every time I see him. It’s slanted like a twisted bad cartoon of an Evil Eye sending pieces of his rotted soul to everything he looks at.

Toads and scorpions and smelly shitty things might as well come slithering out of their mouths and I don’t think I can watch and listen to them much longer. I’m going to have to come to DU once again to keep my sanity and my health! I’m so glad I can do that. I need you for my health!

since my instinct and common sense told me he would win from the second I saw him on the golden escalator. You could ask my family, friends and neighbors. They heard me say it for a year. The polls I was looking at. She was in the lead everywhere I looked. And then election day came and I got frustrated from the loss. Anger from the frustration. Frustration from the anger. It took me a while to stop swearing ( silently to myself ) and to find DU and join up where I have found this ray of hope for all Democrats. I say ray of hope because all of the news stories I have seen about 45 on television come out here first a couple of months before that.

"They did it first," was something my mother had me broken of by the time I was four or so. Justifying it by attaching some sort of culpability on her part because her boss and some of her co-workers commit this sort of behavior is tarring with a broad brush, indeed. If I had asked the therapists would have changed the channel, but they were all busy and I didn't want to interrupt them. But that day when they checked my vitals during the workout (they check, during and after) my blood pressure was way spiked high. I really need to get some noise cancelling headphones to use when I transition from the cardio rehab to a regular gym. Then I can ignore the TV and listen to relaxing music while I exercise!
