OK I am confused so help me out.

I came in late to listening to The Beat with Ari Melber a while ago. It appeared that he was sayig that Mueller and informed Trump that he was under criminal investigation. Did I hear it correctly or am I crazy.

I haven't seen that reported anywhere else but Ari does provide good analysis and news.

Under investigation, not under investigation. Subject, Target. When something happens of significance, let me know.

Rachel explained it last night.

45 (foot skid mark) is the subject of a criminal investigation.
He is not the target of that criminal investigation.

However, a source of hers did reply that he could move from subject to target in a very short time.

That means they are looking for evidence against him, but don't have enough to indict yet. Alternatively in his case, Mueller has concluded he can't indict a sitting President but may present potentially impeachable information in his forthcoming report.

He is not a target, which would mean they have enough evidence, and barring some Perry Mason footwork by his attorney, he will be indicted.

send him to the grand jury. As a subject, he can. He's keeping his options open yet so he can question the idiot.
